This Project consists of 2 phases. Phase I of the project includes the Wide Advanced Science Research Center (ASRC), a new 189,000 square-foot shared research facility to support the concept of an integrated university by providing state-of-the-art laboratories for the University’s top research faculty in one location.
Phase II of the project includes the City College New Science Facility, a 200,000 square-feet research space. The building was designed and is now being constructed in tandem with the ASRC.
Wexler Associates was selected to provide structural steel detailing and the design for the connections. The project includes more than 5000 tons of steel with many challenging geometries and very few standard connections. We are now about to complete our detailing and design work successfully.
